Before joining the faculty at Kent State University, Michele served as a vice president at an advertising and public relations agency in Cleveland. She played an active role in the growth of the public relations division with emphasis on the division’s healthcare, internal and marketing communications practices. She also served as a communication professional at two Ohio hospitals. At Kent State, she enjoys teaching public relations courses and mentoring her students into communication professionals
She resides in Ohio with her husband and two children.
